My mother instilled in me a passion for travel. She was a single mom in the '50s. She worked full time and saved to give me wonderful adventures. I wish I had thanked her more before she passed away in 2004.
My earliest travel memory is travelling with my mother, grandmother and dog to Expo67 in Montreal. On the trip we also visited Quebec (I remember the gorgeous buildings and the unusual, loud sirens on the emergency vehicles and Chateau Frontenac).

We then traveled through New England. We made stops in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and more on the way back.
Little did I know how this trip would lead to my road to visit all 50 states...continued on The Road to 50 States.
Awesome! Sooooooo cool! Hugs, Ron and Marcus
